FOUR session teacher training series on girls body image through the lens of advertising and social media. Curriculum includes one hour sessions on societal pressures to fit an idealized image, how advertisers objectify women’s bodies, and how everyday girls and celebrities use social media to express their body image for better or worse.

Suitable for girls in 6th-12th grades. Four hours total of curriculum.

Note:

Program series can be customized to include less or more sessions. Guidance counselors and related staff are welcome to training also!

Teachers receive corresponding bold and attractive PowerPoint(s) with each training package that will feature discussion points and media to view. Teachers will not be required to create or design their own materials as all content will be supplied by me.
